So we played GUESS WHO? in ESL...it was pretty awesome. And the women made us some of their awesome food and tea....I love it! They are amazing women...and I am going to miss them A WHOLE LOT!!!

Here is Mary in one of the shops in our town! This is where you can buy all your amazing clothing! :) And the other shops you can get some of your food from! It was pretty awesome that they let us take pics in here! Good times in the countryside!

K and the beach!!

So yeah we went to the beach when K was here...it was awesome and the snorkeling was once again....gorgeous!! I realized that my Girl Scout skills really stink because we could not get the fire started, later we realized the wood was wet...or maybe we just told ourselves that to make us feel better! hahaha. Ok anyways we still had some good times and the sky was clear and we had plenty of light with all the stars out. And later the moon came out so that was helpful too. Dont we look so cool with our snorkeling gear on?!

Vacation Faces.....

Yeah so basically what kind of face can you make?? I think it is awesome that you can just make so many different faces and still be you. So try it out sometime...with friends, in a mirror, HAHAHA...the best is in your car mirror driving down the street...it gets other drivers to think you are absolutely nuts!!! But how much you want to bet as soon as they pass you or you pass them that they start trying it too! HAHAHA...OH YEAH!! Anyways...these are some faces of people that absolutely rock...I am sure we will make many more faces so be ready for that....

The Boo-Boo!

So lets talk about a crash and burn moment!!!! I went for a run like every morning, I left my gate and made it to a small trail that leads to the main road...next thing I knew...I was falling towards the ground! I mean an all out fall on your face, slide in to home plate, belly slid on the dirt trail. I sat up laughing histerically! 2 national men saw me and laughed at me...for most of my run I just laughed remembering the fall. So I got nice and skinned up. But it is healing nicely. :)

Big Sis'!!!

I love this family. This is the day that the fam and I just chilled out for 5 hours...talking, playing, taking pics, and more. Being a big sis to them has been awesome. It is fun for me if they say thanks or something and they call me sis...it really is like we are family. It has been so awesome to see these children grow up....like we have been here long enough to see these kids grow!! Baby H wasn't born when we first moved here...so we have been here for her birth and long enough to see her crawl, and now the little girl is walking all over the place. Ham, Ann, and Id have all gotten taller and man its just been awesome to be around and see it all.

I Need a Pump!

So I have never had a pump on a stationary bike...but there is a first time for everything! M wanted to try to ride J's bike...it was actually a really funny experience. She only pedaled backwards the whole time. I told her I needed a ride the market so she offered me a ride! haha.

Got Milk? Or Liquid Antacid?

So sometimes when I eat the food here I need a nice shot of this stuff afterwards....I think it was because I ate the national food and then worked out and well, I am not used to greasy foods and todays was a lil greasy. And seriously....who needs a spoon when you can just gulp it! :)

Beach, Snorkeling, Camels...what more do I need?

Our latest trip to the beach was great! We saw some really awesome things. I went snorkeling and saw a sting ray…it was Awesome! We got to see lots of amazing fish that day because it was so clear. Including a huge grouper that was close to our size! AHH it was so cool. We even found Nimo! On our drive we saw tons of camels…more than usual and we even had the chance to snap some pics of the countryside living. It was awesome to chill out!
Speaking of beach! We taught that word in class today.....Um yeah, lets just hope these women don't try to use that word because they are really going to offend some people I think! HAHA. :)

Little H!

The baby of the family. This is Little H…and she is a year old now. She was born shortly after we moved here last year. She is precious and loves to smile and clap!

Obstacles are always in the Way! :)

Hmmm…so what do you do for entertainment here??? You create your own Obstacle Course! After walking thru the house and trying to use every room possible as a part of the course, it finally came together and I was able to concoct a “si fiican ah” obstacle course! J and I videoed our first runs of it! HAHA…needless to say it was wild and well of course awesome! After we did it once we tried to beat our time…and we both beat our times! OH YEAH! So it started out in my room…you had to stand on the far corner of my bed. When the time began…I ran across my bed and jumped on the floor (I know mom and dad…you said no jumping on the bed…so I ran instead! J) After that I ended up in the hallway with 32 marbles, 3 ping pong balls and a bouncy ball…that I had to corral and put in the laundry basket. From there I had to duck under a scarf tied to a chair and J’s door, then do a body bounce off of the exercise ball. Then I ran into the hallway and went thru the tunnel and into the living room, where I had to stack 4 cushions on a chair. After that I had to run and jump over an upright cushion, grab this pipe and spin around it 5 times…then I went to the other side of the table and zigzagged thru some things and jumped another cushion. I ran to the laundry room, picked up the Frisbee and had to make it into the box…then back into the hallway, pick up the volleyball, do 5 bumps and then run thru JJ’s room, around the chair and out into the hallway and on to the kitchen. I had to stack up 4 cups, hit up the hallway again and go thru the tunnel and touch the closet door. OH YEAH! It was rockin awesome! We will accept any challengers.

Mountain Time

So I took a little mountain retreat…it was a beautiful day to just chill out with the King and be on a mountain to pr over the land. I even got some sun! It was so awesome and beautiful.

Valentine's Day!

So J and I had a nice dinner, and by nice I mean we cooked up some Thai food! It was good for our 2nd Valentine's Day in Africa. HAHA...we ended up watching Hitch afterwards, cause that is just a great movie no doubt!

The Birthday...Muffins!

So JS made some birthday muffins and well they were great! I kept laughing as i was trying to blow out the candles! HAHA...yeah imagine that! The team definitely threw a great party!!

The Gifts!

Great gifts no doubt! Thai food from the states, Pop-tarts and peanut butter, granola bars....yeah apparently my team really wants me to eat! HAHA. But hey JS also got me fake poop! Now that is awesome! :) And AS packed the gift in a bag that said, "Let it snow!" which is so appropriate for me because well....I love the cold so much. (RIGHT) Definitely some good times!

The Festivities!!!

So for the big day I made whole wheat tortillas...yeah they look burnt, but they are just dark...and yo...they were good! We had a nice game of "I love the 80's", yeah J and I totally lost! But hey it was still fun. So we had dinner, a game, and total chill time, it was rockin!
