Slip-o-rama!!!

So J and I decided....what the heck. Maybe we should open up a waterpark. I have been wanting to do this since we got here...suds up the hallway and well play Slip 'n' Slide! So we did and it was oh so fun! It was really nice and cool and an excellent break for a couple of hours. So if you decide to come visit bring your swimsuit because we could drive an hour or so to the beach or well...just Slip 'n' Slide in the house! I remember great days outside of my grandpa and grandma's house with all my cousins in the heat of the summer...we would Slip 'n' Slide all afternoon. The perk to the indoor Slip 'n' Slide is that you don't get grass all down your swimsuit! Pretty cool huh?! Posted by Picasa

Monkeying Around....

So we went up to the tallest mountain in our country...and well it was a little chilly, but tons of fun...we stayed in traditional houses and had a really good time...I even had time to practice my tree swinging skills. :) Posted by Picasa

What's up Peeps??

So E-day would not be complete without having a few Peeps around. We put one in the microwave and watched it expand! It was really excellent; I definitely recommend doing it if you never have. It was my first time to see it done, and yes I enjoyed seeing it, I even took video footage.

E-day!

Here is where we spent our E-day. It was beautiful. We sang and read a story, and just soaked up the great creation.

PRICELESS!

Stacks of dirty dishes piled up...
Not being able to flush your toilet...
4 days without a shower...
Receiving a water bill for over $1200...PRICELESS!

So we refused to pay our water bill...I mean if J and I had opened up our own water park equipped with fun swirlly slides, multiple fountains, pools, and a lazy river...then hey, no prob, we would pay the bill...but seriously! The water company realized that something was wrong because that was way too expensive. They pretty much said that if we had a farm we would not spend that much watering it. I am thinking we could have provided water for every camel in our country for less than that! So since it was a house prob the owner is going to pay for the bill.
So this is my bathroom...it is being remodeled due to the leak in my bathroom. That is why our water bill was so expensive. We are still unsure if this is the only problem, but we will see if it helps out any.
New Motto: Enjoy Water!

Ain't no party like an African party....

So this is what you get when you get 10 African women in a room, making cupcakes for a 'mock birthday' and celebrating. Tons of food, tons of dancing, and really just a great time all together. I personally love the party hats over their head covers! Posted by Picasa
