Leaving the Country Party!

J, A, and I threw a party at our house for the women in our class. This was to end our time here before we leave for the summer. There was a lot of dancing and singing and well it was a blast. I am going to miss these women like crazy.

All Wrapped Up!

Here is J and I in our head scarves. We are pretty good at wrapping ourselves up now. The women love it and we get tons of compliments about how we respect the culture...plus we get tons of proposals! Haha. Don't worry no wants to pay 200 camels for us so we are still single!

Cinco de Mayo!

Oh the fun and experience of seeing your guard trying to crack open the pinata! We had a blast celebrating and well we ended up bending the broom handle. Good times though. Our first attempt to hang the pinata from the ceiling fan was unsuccessful. I am sure if you would have hit it there we would have gotten a lot more than candy falling from the sky. It was a great celebration.

Desert Exploration

So here is us after our trek in the desert. We were hot and sweaty but it was a fun time.

Once you Pop (in the microwave) you can't Stop!

So here we are popping popcorn in a microwave!!!! Can you believe it?? That is right, J and A have a microwave and we were so excited to use it! The popcorn tasted excellent. I mean wow who would have thought we would be so excited about a microwave! J and I make our popcorn on the stove...so this was a fun change for sure! J and A are great for letting us accompany them in the popping of the popcorn!
