This is O....she is great. We call her the African me. I had a great time with her out in West Africa!

Hair Scare!

Talk about some bad hair days...it looks like we just crimped our hair...but oh no....who needs a crimper when you can just get your hair braided and then taken out! Lovely.

West Africa

So this is when I went to West Africa. It was fun to see my friends and see a whole new culture. I fell in love with the people, they are great. I got to ride the motor bike, eat a whole fish (yes the head), see some fun kids that paint their bodies, smile with beautiful children, get all dressed up in cultural clothes (wearing their clothes actually made me thankful for the clothes we have to wear on this side of Africa), hang out with the African me...her name is O and we had a blast, I got my hair all braided with K...don't we look ghetto? And I got to hold beautiful African children...it was a blast!

Bicycling Bonanza!

Well JJ, J, and I all had some fun before we began our hiking trip. One of the towns we stopped in had a "Square" that we could rent bikes at and ride them around. I thought it would be fun...and YES it was! We even made some videos which was a little dangerous but hey I didn't fall off of the bike! So we paid like 12 cents a piece to ride around for 5 minutes...I thought it was a fair price! It definitely caught a lot of peoples eyes when they saw 3 white girls riding. Good times!

So here are J and I...I love this girl...we had so much fun. I am so thankful that she is my partner! We always have fun that is for sure.

The Peeps!

So these are the amazing peeps I got to hang out with all week on our hike...it was such an amazing time just to be together and be refreshed and get to lift up so many things. These people have become family here and I am so thankful to have this adventure with all of them.
